chairs: a history by Florence de Dampierre. In the past, I’ve talked about the amazing selection of remainders at the Harvard Bookstore. I was lucky enough to score one of these books. Not only is it a great art history book, the photographs make it coffee table worthy as well.
Hand Job: A Catalog of Type by Michael Perry. Man, I want this book. In this age of computer technology, I find the idea of hand drawn typography really appealing. Right after I looked at this book, I was really inspired and started doodling like crazy . . .
